Dan is a member of the National Tile Contractors Association (NTCA) which is a diverse group of people throughout the tile industry such as attorneys, forensic experts, and manufacturers. Dan’s company is 1 of only 57 5-star contractors with the NTCA.

Today we have Bobby Knox in the studio to talk about the newspaper industry in the Vail Valley. Bobby spent a large part of his life in the newspaper industry. Episode 09: 2019 Eagle Block Party – Behind the Scenes

Today in the studio we have a special guest from Optimum Events in Eagle, Colorado, Ted Wenninger. Optimum Events helps set up large-scale events for different companies all around the world and is headquartered in Eagle. Ted is here to talk about the 2019 Eagle Block Party from May 31st-June 1st and all of the activities that it will entail.

Episode 10 – Dr. Ted Weber; PT, DPT, OCS, FAAOMPT…

In this episode, Dr. Ted Weber is in the house to tell us his story and how he ended up with this plethora of professional titles. To him, every day is an education of some sort, a test of your patience and what you decide to do in your free time. The guys talk about how and why Vail has transformed into the orthopedic haven that it is today and Ted gets into detail about all things physical therapy and healthcare related. Episode 11 – United Rentals – Eagle

Today in the studio, Alex is on location at United Rentals with Geoff Soelter, Todd Winstead, Walter Valdez, and Andy Dewell to talk about their equipment rental business in Eagle, Colorado. The Eagle location actually started as RSC but was eventually bought in 2012 by United Rentals to become the largest rental company in the world. Since then they have gone on to purchase more companies and expand their services globally beyond equipment rental. While part of a global corporation, the Eagle location still has that local small-town feel and remains ingrained in the community. Episode 12 – Ret. Fire Chief ‘Jon Jon’ Asper

Get ready to be inspired. Alex has the pleasure of interviewing retired Fire Chief, ‘Jon Jon’ Asper, a man that has served the Eagle community for more than 20 years. Jon’s career achievements have gone above and beyond his duty as a fire fighter, with his goal in life being to serve his community in the best way that he can. He is here to talk about life in retirement, how the Eagle Fire Department came to be what it is today, and plenty of more interesting stories about his life of service. This man has spent his life living every day in pursuit of something bigger than himself. Stay tuned to hear what it really means to dedicate your life to the service of the greater good.

Enter a world where contracting meets education with Dr. Kathryn Regjo. She serves as the temporary Campus Dean & College-Wide VP of Academic Affairs at Colorado Mountain College. Dr. Regjo’s goal is to redefine how the people and community of the Vale Valley view education, and more how the country views education. While staying in line with community needs, CMT is constantly growing and looking forward to the future so that it can best support the community around it. Under her tutelage, CMT has been able to engrain themselves so deeply in the community that it has restored people’s faith in the education system. In her eyes, it’s not so much a community college; it’s the community’s college. 

Episode 14 – A Mets Fan Journey from Lincoln to Eagle to Work…

Allegiance in sports can be determined by a multitude of factors. If you’re lucky, you grow up in a city that has a professional team of its own, but if not, then you rely on fate to decide for you. Alex’s guest today, Jared, came up in Lincoln, Nebraska as a Mets fan of all things. Though New York was far away, Darryl Strawberry, Dwight Gooden, and the boys of the Miracle Mets had imprinted their greatness across the country to Jared and his friends. Over the years, Jared’s experiences through sports and life have led him to where he is today, an attorney in Eagle, Colorado.

Episode 19 – Peter Davis (Professional Cyclist) “Keep’n It Real”

Unless you have been living under a rock for the last 30 years, then you have definitely heard some things about professional cycling, from Lance’s 7 Tour de France wins that gave him the throne to the events that kicked him off of it. So much more has happened in professional cycling that hasn’t made the front-page news. Alex’s guest today is a professional cyclist and somewhat of a local celebrity. Peter Davis is in the house and he’s keep’n it real about his days in cycling, the infamous steroid scandal, and so much more!

Episode 20 – Winter Hut Trip w/ Terri-Ann Giandomenico

When you think of vacation, you probably don’t think of physically carrying all of your luggage up a mountain during the dead of winter. Well, you need to learn how to live like Alex’s guest today! Terri-Ann Giandomenico is in the studio with Alex to tell you all about fitness and going on a winter hut trip at over 11,000 feet! You may think you are physically fit but you don’t know fit until you have to climb a mountain in the snow...for your vacation! Episode 21 – Design/Architecture – Kathy Aalto & Pavan Krueger

Kathy Aalto and Pavan Krueger are in the studio today to try and salvage the forgotten podcast that has been lost to the annals of time because Alex forgot to press record. Kathy is a landscape architect at Ceres Landcare from Kansas and a member of the American Society of Landscape Architects (ASLA). Pavan is a sole proprietor and owner of Krueger Architecture and a member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA). Between the two of them, there is a massive amount of knowledge in regards to the design/architecture industry. Today, Alex picks their brains and learns all about the different types of architects and ways they are changing the community. Very interesting stuff!

Episode 22 – We’re All Going To Die! w/Bobby Knox

The zombie apocalypse is here and we’re all going to die! Well, maybe that’s a little dramatic, but it’s very clear to everyone that the world is going through one of the biggest shifts in recent memory. COVID-19 is spreading around the world and all we can do is hunker down and weather the storm. Alex is with Bobby Knox in the studio today, his third time on the show, and they are talking all about the state of the world right now and what’s to come. Is there a silver lining to all this madness? That’s for you to decide!

Episode 23 – Epidemiologist Natasha Lloyd – Spread The Word, Not the Virus

The world is in a state of chaos and most of us are left asking questions because we just don’t understand what to do. Alex’s guest today is here to answer some of those questions. Natasha Lloyd is an epidemiologist with a specialty in infectious disease. She was well on her way to skiing in the Olympics when she suffered a tragic back injury that completely changed her course. Alex and Natasha are going to dive in-depth into the current state of the world as it deals with COVID-19 as well as suicide prevention. We don’t know where the world is headed, but social isolating doesn’t necessarily mean you have to go it alone!
